  1. “A system of communication?” This is typical new age nonsense! There is no evidence at all that tarot cards were made for any other purpose than for playing a type of card game similar to modern bridge.

  2. haha, I confess I know little about them so It’d be hard for me to comment ;-) but then I know little about playing Bridge either! However as a set of Illustrations I do find them fascinating… I’ll add more from the Article soon

  3. Those are the somewhat more modern tarot, these are the ooooold school ones that those were based on.

    I think that there is more than enough evidence to state that the Tarot was for more than playing bridge. The divination thing is cheezy, as are the claims to ancient ancient ancientness, but there is definitely some codified system of symbols being presented in the cards.
