A Colour Like Orange: An eBook release from CG Inglis
In 2018, Sci-Fi-O-Rama entered strange new waters as a fledgling fiction publisher. With a generous commitment from Toronto writer CG Inglis, we had the opportunity to run the exceptional “A Colour Like Orange” as a twelve-part serial over more than a year. The project was a great success; the stories layered into an exciting, mysterious world of great depth, and a core of dedicated readers were transfixed.
We are excited to now announce for both those veteran readers and newcomers to CG Inglis’ work the launch of “A Colour Like Orange” as a consolidated eBook! CG has re-edited all twelve stories to lock the puzzle pieces even more tightly together, and has added an epilogue that adds new dimensions to this enigmatic, broken world.
For a sense of what awaits you, here is the “back cover” text from the eBook:
A technician who takes his research outside the lab… An agent sent to track down a breach in reality… A host with a body fit for a home…
Through a wide panorama of dreams and masks, gritty cityscapes and sleek laboratories, these interconnected stories capture a remarkable world at the breaking point. Blending cyberpunk with urban fantasy, body horror with hard-boiled noir, mystery suffuses every moment of these carefully constructed works. There are answers to be found here, but as in our world, they are never easy, and never truly certain. A Colour Like Orange is speculative fiction of the highest calibre.
