More game box artwork, this time from 1990 ‘Blood Money’ repurposed for legendary UK software house Psygnosis, art by Peter Andrew Jones.

This superbly moody character is originally taken from Peter’s portfolio book ‘Solar Wind. Love the tiny piggy eyes!

Image sourced from the excellent Mobygames.com site, which is like imdb.com for computer games, well worth checking out if you are a gamer.

  1. I loved this game! The artist did alot of covers for Psygnosis (now part of playstation Sony) back in the day

  2. Yeah Psygnosis Rocked ! Roger Dean did a few of the covers to I believe, I remember seeing these as full page ad’s in Amiga Format….. aaah those were the days

  3. I love his work. He actually has a website, but its hard to navigate. Wish he put some more of this artwork online. This cover brings some fond Amiga 500 memories 🙂

  4. hey Daniel,

I think his work is excellent – but yeah I agree the site’s not the greatest, hardly does the work justice – I do however own Peter’s book “Solar Wind” via Ebay – It was about a tenner with the Postage, so well worth it….

  5. Thanks Chris, it seems I didnt reply to this message… I’ve since seen the Niven novel and am aware of course, as with pretty much most of Psygnosis box art we are looking a recycled illustrations.

  6. A variant of this illustration was also used as the cover for Peter’s portfolio book ‘Solar Wind’.
