Dan Mcpharlin Untitled

Wicked moody minimalism from Dan McPharlin this time with a surreal tinge and an air of that most iconic of 12″ Sleeve’s – Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon”.

I’ve decided to post this image despite the fact  it’s popped up on FFFFound more time’s than I’ve had hot dinner’s – basically this is because:  A) it’s bloody brilliant and B) just in case anyone’s not had a chance to see Dan’s superb take on Sci-fi inspired Art…

Dan McPharlin – Land of the Sleeping Things

A sample from the portfolio of contemporary Australian Artist and Illustrator Dan McPharlin, muted and subtle colouring create a very other worldly atmosphere and I think its fair to say the art rendered is as competent as any other example featured on Sci-Fi-O-Rama. Dan has contacted me directly via the blog, and to be honest I was pretty much blown away with his work. In addition to this Roger Dean-esque misty illustration he’s capable of several other style’s including some superb cardboard engineering….
