I’d seen the Giger vehicles for Dune before but never seen the others before. I’ll have to dig into this more later.

Also worth noting is that Jodorowsky’s Dune was something of a mess really, and that eventually he went on to create the Metabaron comic book series, which contains much of what he wanted his Dune to be.

But even better, most of the design crew on his Dune–Giger, Foss, Moebius–went from that, to Ridley Scott’s doomed Dune project, to Alien. And thank you for that, I might add! Though I will always wish to be abruptly transported to a parallel universe in which everything is the same, except Scott’s Dune was made, and I get to watch it. Mmmm.
