Roger Dean - Obliterator

Another good example of Roger Dean’s leftfield take on Sci-fi demonstrated here with some slightly Alien-esque artwork for the Computer Game “Obliterator”,   Another classic Psygnosis title which played as a 2d Platform Puzzle / Shoot-Em-Up. 1. Hi,

The Obliterator became quite famous on the Amiga.
In those days it was the computer that I dreamt about having, but couldn’t afford.

    Kind regards,

    José

  3. The tragedy of the Amiga was the general perseption was the Atari was cooler because it was, well, Atari. i remember forever justifying the Amiga’s abilities in school playgrounds.

  4. Love this one. I have been a fan of Roger Dean since the early 90s when I started to see his artwork appear on the box covers of Amiga games.
